Hello! Welcome to the inner workings of my brain. My name is Angelica, and as of 2:30 PM PST, I am officially one quarter of a century old. I live in sunny San Diego with the love of my life and our bratty cat, Loki.
I live like most twenty-five year olds live; I wake up late, I swear I’ll go to bed early tonight, I go to work, I spend eight hours thinking of ways to avoid doing my job, I come home, I try to make it to the gym once in a while, and then I stay up just late enough that I’m exhausted by the time I have to do it all again in the morning.
My hobbies include complaining about things that are entirely in my control, planning extravagant vacations I can’t afford, and pretending I don’t live paycheck to paycheck. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and Netflix.
Most people, as far as I can tell, have some sense of purpose or meaning in their life by this point, but honestly, the most exciting part of my birthday was when I realized I could finally rent a car for a little less than an arm and a leg. Which, as it would seem, is what brought us together. Lucky you.
This blog is my first baby step to freedom. Here, I will only do things that make me happy and I will encourage you to do the same.
So here’s to us, and the journey that I hope will soon follow. May we both find joy and fulfillment in what’s to come.
